The 5 Spot Richmond Hill

It’s s3 with promise. Open Bing week is tough on any restaurant. Our server didn’t know the drink menu and struggled with the restaurant being busy but she tried hard and was pleasant. One meal was delivered cold and all were too salty. The manager did try to make things right so I have high hopes for the future.

highly recommend the fried green tomatoes! great food, great service. can’t wait to come back and try the other things they have to offer.

Traveling through Savannah we stopped and had dinner at The 5 Spot which was newly opened in Richmond Hill. Ordered the pulled pork with Mac-n-cheese and broccoli slaw. It was excellent especially the Mac-n-Cheese as it wasn’t too overly cheesy and was seasoned very well. Slaw portion was great. My wife had the Buddha bowl which she also loved. Glad we got there early as it filled quickly on a Sunday night. Will stop in again on our north/south journeys.

I live around the corner from the Sandfly location, but both me & my boyfriend work in Rh so I was ecstatic to see one open up just down the road! Food & service was incredible as always. The location (where Molly’s was) got just the revamp it needed!

With this being the first week, the service was slow as one would expect. We did have send a dish back, however, the bar manager, Jamie Marie, handled it perfectly and took care of it. We love the Five Spot in Sandfly, and in time this location will only continue to improve. We will be back.
