Only been there twice but the cakes are delicious

Enjoyed eating at Statesboro Sweets. The food was good, service was excellent, and the cafe was very clean.

Our experience with Statesboro Sweets was absolutely, over-the-top wonderful! Due to the virus outbreak, we had a Disney trip cancelled and ended up having to throw together a birthday party for our son at the last minute in the middle of the chaos. I reached out at the very last minute to Angelia, and it’s safe to say she pulled through for us. My husband found a dinosaur cake that I was convinced was way too complicated to be done in a couple days time; well, I was wrong. Angelia left me - and my family - speechless (this, of note, is not easy to do). The cake was absolutely mind blowing! This cake looked identical to the picture I sent her, and I still cannot believe it! Moreover, it’s one thing to make a cake look amazing, but it’s another to make that same cake taste amazing. Well, Angelia did not fall short with a strawberry pound cake for my “strawbaby” loving toddler. This is no subpar pound cake; this is the real deal - even in a fondant covered cake. (Even the fondant tasted amazing, in case you were wondering.) I’ve added a photo in the Google photos section of this beautiful cake. Thank you, Angelia, for the time you took to make this day extra special for my little one! It’s very clear you take pride in your work, and you’ve found a whole family of new customers! The food is delicious! Loved the Chicken Cordoun Blue! Good taste! Good size portion! Good price!
