Well worth the little drive! Amazing food, beautiful building and decor, friendly staff and a wonderful family atmosphere. It's so nice, coming from a big city, to see the entire community and families together, working, eating, building, and living. Fish Eye Grill, you guys have it! And again, all the food is delicious. You can taste the love!

We were driving from Hilton Head Island up to Augusta on a Sunday afternoon when we blew by this restaurant. We thought we could grab a meal along the way but we never passed a single eatery. We saw the Fish Eye and did a quick search on our phone and saw excellent reviews. We did a u-turn and boy, are we glad we did!
It’s in the middle of nowhere but it was one of the most memorable meals of our vacation. We were treated to enormous helpings of fantastic Southern fare: fried chicken (to die for!), Turkey, Pork ribs, and Chicken Fried Steak. The sides were equally delicious: Mac and cheese, sweet potato casserole, cabbage and sausage, green bean casserole. There may have been others but the four of us did our best to sample everything. The amazing desserts were Chocolate Eclair cake and some sort of chocolate and peanut butter and Oreo wonderfulness.
The owner’s Mom visited with us and introduced us to her son who owns and operates the restaurant. They were the very essence of Southern hospitality.
Everything in the building was spotless and well-designed. We give it a A+++ rating.

You simply have to try it! I could write a book and yet it would not come close to the experience. The food is amazing. The restaurant feels like home with its cozy and comfortable layout. The owners and staff along with the people in general that you meet in this small town restaurant will make your experience here one you will remember and cherish. Do yourself a favor and go see for yourself.
