The service is a little slow. That may be because we always walk in with a party of 8-12 patrons. The food is definitely worth waiting for. I've ordered several dishes and have always been pleasantly surprised. Servers are courteous and the manager comes to check on us every once in a while. The prices are decent.
I've lived in the area for 2 years. I have searched everywhere for a great steak and FINALLY! found it! Great food and an even nicer price. You won't get the quality and amount of fresh food anywhere else and you don't have to fight the traffic.
This place is usually amazing so that it why I gave it 3 stars. Tonight my husband and I went in and were sat pretty quickly. We ordered pretty quick because we always get the same thing. The "blooming onion", 2 ribeye and seafood, 1 with flounder, 1 with shrimp. Our waitress brings our onion like 7 minutes later and as we were picking at it we realized the onion was still very raw and still had flour on it, not cooked at all. So we flag our waitress down let her know and she takes it back to the kitchen. Brings it back a few minutes later, THE SAME onion. So food touched by customers was put back into the kitchen area and then back into the fryer. Then our food comes out and our medium steaks were VERY well done aside from that the rest of the food was pretty yummy. Only other problem was my husband's sides he ordered sauteed onions and onion rings. They brought a VERY small amount of sauteed onions and they were delicious but they brought a baked potato instead of his onion rings. I mean at the end of the day we will come back, but we will hope for WAY better food.
Also our waitress was great, we did not expect nor want a discount, we still tipped well, all of those things.
Photo below of our sauteed onion portion.
For the life of me, I don't know why I didn't think to photograph my deliciously grilled, well-seasoned shrimp that I dipped in Jimmy's custom tartar sauce. I was taken back to simpler times at my grandma's while biting into those lightly battered fried green tomatoes and savoring my slightly salty sauteed mushrooms. My mouth is watering just remembering what I ate.... Great service with Allison taking care of my work buddy, who introduced me to Jimmy's Steak and Seafood, and me.
