Moochie's Soup & Sandwich Shop

Saw some great comments about this new place on our Nextdoor app so we decided to try it for my birthday breakfast. We are so glad we tried them out, and will certainly go back! My husband had the 3-egg plate (3 eggs, home potatoes, Texas toast & 2pc bacon...$4) and I had the 3egg omelet (w/sausage, Vermont cheddar, mushrooms, avocado & home potatoes, sourdough toast for $6.50+$1.50). Yes, $4.00!! Easily worth more. Let me tell you, this was NOT some fast food warmed up premade food, it was fresh ingredients, even the mushrooms, carefully made to order and plated with care on ironstone plates. No paper plates here. And a sweet selection of fresh berries to garnish. When I mentioned my birthday, the owner included a complimentary treat, lemon pound cake. The only fault I found was the cashier didn't mention the avocado was an upcharge, but no big deal there. The two running this place are both trained chefs from Texas. For now, they're limiting their hours to be open til noon, but I hope folks embrace this place and help them succeed. A fresh, bright, low cost eatery...don't be fooled by the sandwich shop look w/tables & chairs. You are treated as well as any full service dinner restaurant and the food, prices, care & courtesy we received can't be beat!

We ate breakfast at Moochie's and the food was excellent. The presentation of the plate was presented well. The staff was kind and courteous. And the restaurant was clean. I would come here again to eat.
