Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Sorry, but after last night, Cracker Barrel loses a star from me. We were seated quickly, service was better than normal, because it was late, but the burger, just sucked! Honestly, I don't prefer to eat McDonald's burgers, but even that would have been better. It had NO flavor! The so called beef patty had NO moisture! It was tough, it was probably like cardboard on a bun! Also, it dripped excessively, maybe the lettuce and tomato slices are soaking in water, not sure...

This is our family's favorite Cracker Barrel location. The food usually seems to be a bit better here. Service is great and staff is friendly. Alas, even this store serves the tepid mashed potatoes that bear a dry film over the top. It would be great if Cracker Barrel could figure out a way to serve fresh, hot mashed potatoes.

The food at cracker barrel is always good BUT the food at this one is just a little bit better. The turnip greens are like grandma made 'em! The pintos are seasoned up like they came from home! Everything is just a step above what you are expecting! Plus the service is excellent. The restrooms are clean, smell good and are well stocked. The store is easy to walk through and well stocked and organized. The front porch is always clean and swept. It is just an all around great experience that I don't get to have often enough!! I'd give it 10 ????'s if they would let me!!!

Service was great and so was the food. I tried the new fried chicken enough for two meals so I had it again for supper. Good place to meet up with friends. We were probably there 2 hours. Yes they were busy but tables were still available. Good food great vegetables, and salads.
