Thai Basil

My boyfriend tuned me on to this place. Thai Basil is wonderful, and for a little place like Villa Ricca, it is more downtown Atlanta or Buckhead quality cuisine. 5-Stars all the way and great service and atmosphere. The owner is a super nice guy too! Try the Seman Salmon-the sauce is to die for, but everything here is great! Can't say enough about Thai Basil.

Authentic Thai. Very good food. Great service. The amount of food you get is a lot. Not your cheap every day Asian American Restaurant which is a wonderful thing.

This place is off the charts!! It has to be the best Thai food in the world. Am very picky about my Asian food and love good Thai food, but I have never eaten such GREAT Thai food. Fresh healthy vegetables, good lean meat, not greasy and huge fresh shrimp rolls. No other restaurant like it. Want to order everything on the menu. Oh ya, their chicken coconut soup, couldn't stop eating it.
Just read the review about the surcharge, if you use a credit card, get over it. It's $1 no matter how much you order. REALLY? Worth every penny of it! Staff may be young but they are great!

Service was okay, but I think they are working that out as a newer restaurant. The foos was delicious. Everything came out hot. I had the fried dumpling appetizer and it was great. My meal was a curry and I loved it. They had a lot of people coming in for take out. I would definitely come again. They do need to put some background music on.

I think this four star will rise to a five once the staff gets a we bit more experience. This is authentic Thai food. This is excellent Thai food. This is excellent food. I had the seafood basil, my wife had pineapple fried rice with shrimp. The portioning was large, the flavors were large. They take pride in their food.
The wait staff was very friendly and responsive, but you can tell their a bit inexperienced, but it doesn't detract from the experience. There's room for improvement there, but not much. The prices are reasonable. It's not cheap, but it won't break the bank, and you get more than what you pay for.
Id say we have a new contender for best food in Villa Rica.
