The fries are amazing
Kind of expensive
Brunswick stew is on point.
Barbecue is good however, sauce was a little weak.
Woooooooo doggie! That was some mighty fine Q! Pulled pork sammich made right! Toasted Texas toast, just the right amount of a semi-sweet vinegar based sauce that was just the right amount of tart. The pork was gently charred and well smoked. You could really taste the hardwood in the meat. Simply delicious. But wait... theres more! They served me up some hand cut homemade fries that were seasoned with magic and unicorn dreams.
The meat didn’t need the sauce. It stood on its own. And I don’t even care for typical vinegar sauces, but this one was special. Hands down a better BBQ than anything in nearby Newnan, and worth the scenic drive to Whitesburg to find the place. The dining room is typical hole-in-the-wall with some clear effort put into it, but also easy to feel cozy in. There’s only 6 tables inside, or 2 on the patio plus they have a drive through! Limited parking so come early and eat hearty!
Brisket combo was very good. Ribs were average
It’s good food IF YOU CAN catch them open. There times are just posted I don’t think they go by them and will open whenever, and will definitely close up whenever. And 3 outa 4 times a call in order was made, they were very rude about hurrying to pick up our order bc they were closing...3 hours before closing time. 2 outa 4 meals were cold but reheating was no big deal,Altho it would be if you were on the road. Take care to be aware.
Small local bbq. Great food. Home made fries. Great for a cheap quick lunch
