The other BBQ joints in the area pale in comparison to this place. Excellent food and service. Also, I love that it's tucked away from the rest of the traffic and madness in the Pooler-area (Bloomingdale). My only concern is: I drove past the place several times before even realizing that it's a restaurant. I guess word of mouth keeps this place in business? The building doesn't look like a restaurant on the outside and the sign is too tiny to see.
Awesome service. Best BBQ in the area. And best Brunswick Stew I've ever eaten. DEFINITELY worth a visit or two.......or seven.
Great food and atmosphere. Very clean. We had the pulled pork plate and chicken plate. Smoked veggies were delish. Very tender pork. They had a variety of yummy sauces. This place will be on our list to return to.
Nice small local bbq place to stop by and visit. I'd recommend the brisket, ribs, and the Brunswick stew. Quality customer service and nice/cozy. Besides being a bit out of the way to get to, I do wish they'd offer a mild version of the baked beans and Brunswick stew.
Nice and clean BBQ spot. Each plate has choice of one meat and two sides. I had the brisket, Brunswick stew, and Mac & cheese. The brisket was moist and tender and didn't even need any sauce (I still tried several of their flavors and really liked the honey jalapeño sauce). The Brunswick stew was delicious and worthy of being an entree by itself. Over all a great southern BBQ meal.
