Yummy House in Pooler

I admit i was late in the day. I ordered the chicken Curry to go on saturday aug 17at approx 8pm. The food had a soapy taste, as though the kitchen was cleaning up an i surprised them. Otherwise the flavors were good.

I enjoyed my meal very much! I got Pork Lo Mein. I do have a place I go in another city that I like better, but this was a good second. The noodles were just fine, the pork was good. The flavor was good overall. I also ordered the fried dumplings. They were delicious! They were a great size! They were soft on the top & a little bit crispy on the bottom. I noticed that in my to-go container they even put the soft part of the dumpling down, and the crispy side up..., as to try to preserve the crispy bottom . That way moisture from the container wouldn't get on the crispy part as much - know what I mean? That was pretty smart. The dumpling was a good size, and the filling was very good. I think I got six dumplings! I'm trying to remember, I think I ate three, and saved three. The menu might say five....Not sure if I got five or six. Anyway, it was delicious. But what I REALLY loved was the brown dipping sauce, ir juice, for the dumplings! It was salty, sour, in a little bit spicy, but not much spice. Just a little bit of Red Pepper or something. I loved it. I would dip the dumpling, bite into it, use the bitten-into dumpling to scoop up extra sauce, and then bite that along with the lo mein and pork. Wonderful!

The food is very good and it doesn't taste greasy like some Chinese restaurants. They give you ample amounts.

The store is very clean. The food is hot and fresh. Store attendent very polite and attentive. Good flavor and not expensive. Husband and I had lunch there for $27.00 and still had to take food home.
