Always a friendly staff and the food is great. They take grilled cheese to a whole new level. Thank you all for giving people a great local eatery and for always having a smile on.
This was our first dinner in town and it did not disappoint. We arrived at 5:30pm on a Friday with no reservation and were seated right away. Our cocktails were delicious (I ordered the Century) but I will admit the tap water here tastes a bit weird...so order a beverage of some sort for sure. The stuffed calamari small plate was our least favorite dish. The sausage masks the taste of the calamari but the flavor of the sausage was good. The dish just wasn't what we expected. The bacon wrapped dates are a MUST and the mushroom pate (though more of a tapenade consistency) was also good. The beef tenderloin main dish was fantastic. Cooked just right and smooth enough to cut with a regular butter knife, no need for a steak knife (which explains why they don't bother to give you one). The beet salad was nice if you are looking for a veggie side. I would definitely come back to this restaurant. Great service, great food.
Great little spot in Savannah for a bite. I had the corned beef sandwich and it was amazing. The service was great and the waiter had excellent wine recommendations. The menu changes seasonally so it's always a fresh experience.
This is my favorite restaurant in Savannah. The Century is my favorite drink (bourbon with fig...amazing). Then I get the bacon-wrapped dates, the beet salad (so many colorful beets!), and the lobster roll (packed with lobster on a toasted bun). My husband usually gets the fresh catch. Then the chocolate mousse with macadamia nuts in a jar. Ugh, we're going to have to go there tonight...I'm craving it again. They change up the menu a lot, though, which is great for foodies who don't cook (like us). The service is outstanding (friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable without hovering). The atmosphere is casual, comfortable, and hip. You should definitely check it out!
What a nice little gem! It’s more spacious than you would think from outside. Nice atmosphere, inside, and also 2 outside seating options.
The cocktails are quite creative. I had the Laredo last time, very tasty.
We all shared the golden beet salad and some delicious little roasted peppers. My husband had the porcetta, a pork belly roll. He never chooses the pork, it he loved it. I had the whole fish, was absolutely delicious.
We go there from time to time. It is a great place for casual atmosphere but creative good food. Would recommend for both locals, also for visitors.
