Good food but no AC! Small place with a decent bar, drinks from a stand-up cooler, including Fanta &Cokes from Mexico (made w/real cane sugar NOT corn syrup). Good balleadas and sopa de res (beef soup--when they have it; it sells out usually by 4pm), tasty al pastor tacos, excellent pupusas! Originally all Honduran, but new owner reduced the Honduran menu to half, and other half now Mexican. Fried chicken and seafood, good prices, seafood soups (go early!).
That's a big bowl of soup. Haha. Can't wait to try out more of the menu. I'll be going back for sure.
This is the place you want to go if you want that authentic Latin flavor. They also have a beautiful and friendly staff that makes you feel comfortable like your at mama's house. One of my favorite spots for lunch.
This restaurant is tuck away so you need to map it to ensure you find it. I had the menudo and it was pretty good. Had a nice little spice to it. Decent serving size too. No fountain drinks, though. 20 oz sodas or cans. It took forever for the server to return my debit card. She got caught up serving other people so that wasn't cool. Over all, I'd go back and try another dish or two.
