We picked up Java Burrito on the way home and were not disappointed! The portion sizes were generous and the food was delicious. We got bowls, the chicken and queso were amazing! I’d have taken a picture but we ate it too quickly.
Came for the honey lavender mocha it was good. Loved the Mexican mocha!! Cinnamon honey dark chocolate! The build your burrito was fabulous! The grilled vegetables so yummy! Even my picky eating child tried it and ate half my burrito! The ascetic is upscale and minimal feels classy with very pleasant staff. I came in tired and sweaty from the heat and walking, everyone on staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. I was able to cool off and enjoy the atmosphere without feeling like the mess I was!
I travel to Savannah 2x a month for work. Decided to try these guys, since we are doing the bike tours across the street. (Check the review I left there as well if you're interested) so, on to the review.
As we walked in, we where kindly greeted. Place looked very clean. Even behind the counter. We walked back, to where the food is. Decided to also try a hot mocha coffee as well. To compare this place to Chipotle isn't fair to this place. These guys served great food! The kids were very happy with the size of the burrito and rice bowl. Both of them agreed its great!
Will be back to this place.
Coffee was very good with lots of options to choose from. They had a wide variety of other drinks that were not coffee with cool things like Turmeric and Beet root powder, stuff that made me want to come back just to try those too!
The burritos we had were very good! I'm allergic to egg but had no problems getting a breakfast burrito that was full of potatoes, rice, black beans, beef, and tons of veggies.
Overall we were very impressed :)
Great burritos served at a walk up counter where you go down the line and pick your toppings. Also had a great breakfast burrito and good coffee. We live nearby and it's a regular stop for us!
