Love's Seafood Restaurant

Ok so the gator bites are the best thing ever made. The gumbo and rice are bomb. Loved the hush puppies as well. Service was great i wanna say our server was named Hannah??? Or Henna? If we come back to Georgia we are definitely coming back

When asked about gluten free foods, the manager was very happy to discuss options with me and even walked back to the kitchen to ask questions. The server was very nice and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious. I loved my shrimp and scallops, corn and green beans. All were nicely seasoned, almost on the edge of being too spicy but not! I'm very sad that we were just passing through.

My 1st time eating at Loves and I absolutely loved the atmosphere. My dish was pretty good also. I'm giving the restaurant four stars because of an incident I saw with management. My waitress was experiencing her first time with a large group and things were going well until time for the bill. She became a little confused with credit cards and mixed things up. He scolded her in the back of the restaurant. It would have been more appropriate for him to come out to service us and discipline her later if needed. Being that she was new to handling a party of 12, I feel he should have been on the floor making sure she didn't fail when she ran into trouble. He should definitely brush up on his management skills. Our waitress was a very nice young lady who I feel deserved to be treated more fairly!

Little seafood restaurant right off the coastal highway and adjacent to the river, with nice views. Had a fried seafood platter, which is breaded well and tasted good. Decent beer selection. Cole slaw was on the runny side But the taste was still there. Wait staff was friendly, attentive and able to sit us rather quickly. It was a hot day, so did not sit outdoors. But hope to come back and experience the outdoor seating when the weather is cooler.

I absolutely love this place! We tend to go here for special occasions, like my recent birthday, and they never disappoint. Meals are priced reasonably, especially for fresh seafood and the portion size you get. Tina, our server, was friendly and helpful without being intrusive, and she and the staff made my birthday dinner a great one. The bartender also makes an excellent drink. I highly recommend Love's to anyone who loves great seafood with a nice riverside view and fantastic staff. The swings by the river are a nice touch too for relaxing after a meal.
