Papa's Bar-B-Que & Seafood

Food was very good. Waitress was nice and gave good service for about half the dinner. About half way through we started feeling very rushed. I don't know if the waitress was getting ready to end her shift or what but she was definitely ready to clear our table. She even took my sons plate before he was finished. He couldn't say anything because he had just took a bite of his food and was chewing. By time he had finished chewing she was gone. At that point what was the use in saying anything... instead of making a scene we just paid our bill and left. I don't know what time their shifts change but it was 2:40 PM when we left. Worst thing is they weren't even busy at the time. Really to bad because the food was pretty good but I doubt we ever return.

Our party of 5 is visiting from out of state. A friend's brought us here because it is their favorite place to eat. We loved it! They had food to please each of us. The crab stew was divine!! Fried green tomatoes... BBQ sandwiches... All fantastic! Great service, too!

Service is pretty decent. The food is hit or miss. On certain dishes I feel like they don't serve enough like the chicken tenders my boyfriend got one time. There were four pieces and all roughly small, enough to feed a 7 year old child honestly. He got two servings of fried okra but for what we paid, it wasn't enough.

Always fresh, always delicious. BBQ, seafood, chicken salad, homemade desserts, smoked chicken... the options are endless and all are delicious. We have been eating here for years and we've never had a bad meal. My favorites are the pulled pork and fried shrimp, can't go wrong with either. The menu has options for everyone, making Papa's a great spot for family lunches/dinners. Friendly and knowledgeable staff that make you feel right at home. Do yourself a favor and stop by this spot. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend.

Great place for a great lunch especially the chicken salad. Nothing fancy but consistently good. I have eaten lunch there now about 4-5 times at different times in the afternoon and I usually get either a chicken salad sandwich, hamburger, or one of their salads. My husband gets their barbecue and he says it's delicious. Very casual and very filling
