Sarah Jane's is a lovely jewel in the typical food court madness. I had the fried catfish (2 filets), green beans and mashed potatoes with gravy. Everything is clearly freshly prepared and done so by someone who knows how to cook Southern-style. My catfish was so perfectly prepared: light cornbread coating outside, cooked just to doneness--not hard or greasy--and of course perfectly seasoned. A meal at Sarah Jane's will run you in the neighborhood of $10.
I had lunch here because it was easy to find vegetarian options. The staff was very friendly, and the food was very good. The black-eyed peas and cornbread were to die for!
Delicious food at a good price and the restaurant owner was very professional and well-mannered. a very good portion of food even on the sides and delicious potato salad. They also have low country boil. The chicken is very juicy
