Excellent food and atmosphere. The renovated greyhound bus station is a perfect backdrop for a nice date night out. The art decor lamps, floors and seating are so cool. Our dinner was delicious, the squash terrine was the best. We explored the up and downstairs dining locations as well. So many authentic touches we just loved this place. If we're ever back in Savannah well definitely be back here.

Really wonderful place! Excellent cocktails, interesting menu, absolutely delightful food. We sat at the counter in the dining room and it was exciting to be in the middle of everything going on in there. The space is absolutely beautiful- tastefully decorated in a way that respects the history of the building without making it feel like a themed restaurant. Every aspect of our experience was exceptional and the meal will be remembered for quite some time. I'll definitely return when I'm in Savannah.

Of course my favorite was dessert! Devils food cake & a crumble. Crumble reminded me of old home cooking flavors from my youth. Service was beyond excellent. Atmosphere was great. Food is fine dining that didn't disappoint.

The Grey is an amazing restaurant! The servers and staff are welcoming and attentive, although I was dining alone they gave me a great experience. The food is fantastic, and the little extras like southern boiled peanuts are all great to try especially if you’re from out of town like me. The portions on the small plates are reasonable for the price and all delicious. The atmosphere in the old bus station is unique thought provoking and fun at the same time. I would definitely return to the Grey and recommend to a friend.

The Grey absolutely deserved its James Beard award. We visited 3 James Beard Award winning restaurants this vacation, and The Grey absolutely holds its place well. I want to stay that The Grey elevates Southern food, but at the same time I don't. Because it represents all of the best things about Southern food, period. This is just excellent Southern food as it should be, no "elevation" required.

Boiled peanuts, country ham, peaches, chicken, summer squash, fresh basil and mint and everything at its peak. It's Southern food, perfect and fresh. It may be plated a bit more sophisticated than the Virginia food I grew up with, but the flavors are the same. The blackberry cobbler is pure summer. I was immediately right back to picking buckets full of blackberries and bringing them home for my mom to make in a cobbler that's warm and gooey and covered in vanilla ice cream.

Everything was special. Everything was delicious. It was a wonderful evening.
