Everything was very good but I kind of expected more considering it's called The Breakfast Club. A little bit higher price for what you get. But everybody was extremely nice friendly and accommodating. Service was fast and friendly and the overall quality of the food was was good. Plus side they make a lot of ingredients right there in the restaurant.
I had high expectations which I try not to cause I'm usually disappointed. I went late breakfast on a Friday morning before leaving the island. Waited about 20 minutes outside in the heat. The inside was very "hole n the wall, which was fine. You walk through the kitchen basically to get to the tables. Ordered fish and eggs - over medium (a little different with fish for breakfast but I was intrigued).
The fish was delicious. The toast, was a splurge for me and unfortunately very disappointing that it came with no butter, was barely toasted (was still soft) and was cold.
Took a few minutes to flag down a waitress (wasn't even mine) to get butter... which was cold and hard.
By the time waitress checked on me and offered to get me some fresh toast, I was basically done with my eggs so no need for the toast.
So, over all, fish was a hit, the rest could have been handled better if my waitress had just checked on me within a few minutes of my food arriving.
I would try it again due to the vast variety of the menu, but would probably go earlier in the am.
A great breakfast place, even without any biscuits! The omelettes are amazing - they have many different unique combos that they offer within their omelette menu, in addition to being able to build your own. The housemade breakfast sausage is super tasty as are the grits. The coffee is super smooth too. The staff is friendly, and they are efficient with getting the line (that starts out the door) in and seated quickly.
Ate breakfast here. Very good service and good food. Don't let the line out the door scare you. We were behind 2 large groups and were a large group ourselves and only waited a few minutes outside. They do want all of your group there before they will seat you though. Waffles and French toast were good. Seemed to be good quality ingredients. Nice, fun atmosphere. Staff seemed happy. Maybe a little pricey for breakfast food but a nice treat for one morning of vacation.
The "Breakfast Club" is by far the best place to eat breakfast on Tybee Island. My wife and I enjoyed the omelettes and the waffles. It is centrally located. I kinda like the idea that you have to wait outside before being seated. This is will be our breakfast spot to eat from now on. I hope you all enjoy!!!
