Spanky's Beachside

Spanky's at Tybee is my happy place. The best Buffalo tenders on the planet. And Spanky's spuds. Oh gracious...how amazing. Love the food, the staff, the location. It's a must every time we visit Tybee.

Food was really good, better than we expected. On Saturday night, the crowd was a little more exciting than we were looking for, but we're old. Service was incredibly fast though, and the bartenders are great.

Great food & waitstaff. Needs a little improvement in seating new customers. We waited 15 minutes to be seated in a half empty restaurant.

I love the location of this restaurant. It's so easy to walk to from the beach and parking areas. The atmosphere is very family friendly and they keep it clean. The prices are great! A couple things to note: your entire party must be present before they will seat you. Also parties of 7 and above a gratuity percentage is automatically added. (they have signs when you walk in indicating these 2 things as well) also the bathrooms are just 1 toilet for the girls and I'm assuming 1 toilet for the guys.
The only thing I don't love about it is the wait staff- they are not very attentive to their tables. And it's not just this one experience, I've been a few times and they just let their tables go. I'm not sure if that what they are trained to do or if the wait staff is just stretched too thin to give a damn about their entire section but it was a little frustrating to have to go without or flag anyone down when we needed something.

Wonderful place to grab dinner and drinks. Went with my family and had an great time. The food was awesome (especially the spuds) and the service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend the fish and chips those were fantastic! Going to have to come back soon! Thanks!
