Shoney's

My family and I were so worried when they closed for remodeling that they would not reopen, thank goodness they did! We love having an excuse to come by mainly for breakfast, but we aren't afraid to come any other time! The staff is always friendly and enthusiastic! The food is always hot and tasty!

This Shoney's restaurant is a fairly newly built store. Everything is really nice and the bar was well-stocked. Our server Miss Kim was always at our fingertips to meet our needs sometimes even before we asked. She was very helpful and her customer service was second to none. The food at the bar was tremendous. Everything was fresh and looked great. My wife ordered off the menu and the food was the most amazing dish that I have ever seen come from a Shoney's restaurant

Wife had the salad bar it was crisp and delicious as always. I had the Buffalo chicken wings appetizer and they were huge in comparison to the wing restaurant competitors. Misty Rhodes the bartender was amazing and a lot of fun to dine with.....A+++

Nice enough I guess. Our waitress was amazing.... Very kind, attentive. But the health food score was an 80. That's not good enough when you're serving food buffet style. I really hope they improve it quickly. I'm not a huge fan of the chain but it's hubby's fav and it was Father's day, so I know we'll be back despite the 40 minute drive. I'll admit I was pretty impressed by the size and layout of the place (they have a full bar!). I ordered a veggie omelet that was pretty good. The buffet selection was mediocre unfortunately. Pork and starches, greasy veggies. I would have appreciated a little more variety for sure.
