Puerta de Oro Taqueria & Cantina

A lesser known gem in Canton! Very tasty, generous portions, and reasonably priced food. Fresh, hot chips and slightly spicy salsa are served to each table. I ordered a chicken burrito which included chicken, rice, black beans, pico de gallo, sour cream, shredded cheese, and comes with a small cup of queso dip. My mother ordered a combo number 3 which is 2 enchiladas (of your choice) with beans and rice, while my father ordered steak fajitas. We also got a chicken torta to-go for my husband (forgot to take a photo of his before he dived in). Everything was delicious, hot, and filling.

If you are in Canton and looking for good Mexican food at a reasonable price then I highly recommend Puerta de Oro Taqueria. Probably the BEST mexican restaurant in the area!

These Birria tacos are the best I’ve ever had! Co-worker got the loco rice and said it was the best he ever had! Service was great also! Will make the drive for these tacos again for sure❤️

Great food. Tacos were well seasoned and fair portioned. Salsa is tasty and with enough spice to really bring the flavor out without overpowering it. Fajitas were great and chips were fresh

Best new authentic Mexican restaurant in Canton! The tamales were excellent (get the red sauce on the side). The gordita was a meal by itself.

This place has an A on their health rating and serves great, fresh food. Much better than local competition especially right down the road. Service is great and always a place to sit since this place is a hidden gem!
