Century House Tavern

Century House could be one of my favorite places to eat in the village. The food and service are great. However, the menu doesn't change enough to make it a frequent dining option for me. (I've heard the same comment from others who love this restaurant.) Chef, add more variety to the menu and we'll come more often!!!

The Jack and Coke glazed pork belly will satisfy your sweet tooth as well as provide a little protein. It’s served on a bed of grits and it tastes even more delicious mixed with the glaze.

Great place for food and drinks. Friendly staff, service is great. Recommend goat cheese cheese cake. If you like spicy cocktails go for the scorcher.

When you walk into the restaurant, you are greeted with a wonderful aroma of savory foods. The ambient lighting creates a wonderful atmosphere that accents the hard wood floors and fully wooden bar in a stunning way. We were sat by a very sweet hostess and began overlooking the tastefully selective menu. Our waiter greeted us promptly and was beyond kind and was very knowledgeable of the menu and specials. The service was impeccable, the food was incredible, and after speaking with the ever so dutiful owner I left this restaurant with a feeling of fullness and fulfillment. I will absolutely be returning to this restaurant, and look forward to doing so.

Combine fantastic food in an historic building with friendly customer service, and you have Century House Tavern!

The beet salad with goat cheese was delicious. For my main course, I ordered a "small plate" (which was larger than expected) of pork belly and grits, which had a great flavor.

Overall great experience!
