The barbeque is the best. I love the fried corn on the cob. Prices are reasonable and it is close. Your food is at the table in minutes and best of all you just pay at the cash register when you are ready. No hunting down the server for a check

J.D.'s is easily some of the best I've ever had - and I grew up in Western NC, so I've eaten my fair share of excellent BBQ. The service is also very fast and friendly. When you go here, definitely get the pickle chips! They're not to be missed.

I called ahead on Father’s Day and went in to pick up my order around 1-1:30 pm. The place was absolutely packed Customers were waiting on tables to open or standing around waiting for their to go orders, and it was hot in there! The staff was running around like crazy. I wanted to order a side while I was waiting, but they were already sold out of it.

And you know what? The servers were all smiling and trying their best to stay cool despite the crowd and the heat. The kitchen staff was communicating with their servers. And I went home with 3 pounds of some seriously delicious brisket! There’s a reason people continue to come here, wait for tables, and wait for orders. There’s a reason they’re out of a side at 1:30 on a Sunday. So, J.D.’s, print out this review and tack it on a back wall. The next time you’re swamped and someone complains, you just read this and know there are plenty of customers who love this place. You keep doing you! We’ll be back.
