Jekyll Brewing

Excited about this new restaurant/brewery in downtown Woodstock! I loved the Alpharetta location but I think this one is just as lovely. The menu has everything from typical bar fare to cool burgers and fresh seafood. Not to mention all the great beers they had on tap! When my food came out a little differently than I had ordered it, my waitress and the cooks immediately rushed to fix it, which I really appreciated.
I'm looking forward to the distillery portion that was noted on the menu as "coming soon," especially since they seem to be open really late on the weekends!

Best brewery in downtown Woodstock!!! This is Jekylls 3 location, and it does not disappoint. They have 2 floors, and the spacious 2nd floor is handicap accessible via elevator. They offer a selection of their own brews, cocktails, coffee, and juices. They offer a great variety of beers that are all true to style, something for everyone. Their food menu had great variety we only had light bites. The fried pickles & jalapeños were delicious! The seafood chowder was perfect for a cold day! However their pretzel was a very dry and underwhelming, I would not recommend it nor order it again. We will be back to try their other options soon. Overall, this location had great staff and were very quick and efficient shortly after their grand opening!

Great new spot in downtown Woodstock! Good to see another brewery come to town, especially one with such great beers and food! Service, beers, and hush puppies were fantastic. Excited to make this a go-to!

I visited shortly after first day opening. The Food was very tasty! The chef worked with me being that I’m a vegetarian. However, my sides were wrong which I overlooked because the food was so delicious. As a local I’m happy to see a successful company move into that space that offers a wide range of food offerings and not just burgers and fries. My server was really sweet. The atmosphere was a little chaotic and loud, which i suppose can be expected in a newly open bar restaurant. That was a little overwhelming for me. I am excited to try this place again after they smooth out some of their just “opened kinks.”

We wanted to swing by on opening weekend and finally decided to go Sunday night. When we came in, we were told they were very short staffed and the wait would be approximately 20 minutes. We were not in too big of a hurry so we decided to wait. I have been to the Alpharetta locations countless times and felt as if the new location still has some kinks to work out. Overall, the food was mediocre and the beer was good as usual. We had some pork rinds to start with and spilt a fish and chips plate. The coleslaw was very dry and the fish was ok, nothing spectacular! The servers were trying but they were very understaffed, as we had been told, and did the best they could with the amount of people that were in there. My return visit will be a few weeks out when they have had the opportunity to settle in but I think it is a great addition to the Woodstock area!
