Flama Brazilian Steak House

A sweet little place. The meat selection is wonderful, and the butcher was informative. The server was nice and accommodating. My only dislike was the lack of quality sides, but overall, I had a good experience. I highly recommend

My husband and I had a great time at Flama. There’s a decent amount of parking outside and lots of seating options inside. Since it was our first time visiting, the waitress kindly explained how everything worked to us. You can get a regular-sized plate at the “salad bar.” One side includes lots of warm foods like sweet plantains, brisket, wings, chipotle chicken, creamed spinach, beans, rice, and such while the other side includes the typical cold salad foods, with lettuce, toppings, dressings, bread, and potato salad. Then you can grab a smaller plate and go to the meat window, where you can request different types of meat. They have a menu posted right beside it, so that you know what’s available. I especially enjoyed the sirloin, garlic beef, bacon-wrapped chicken, and grilled pineapple, but all the meats were very tender. There were several different sauces you could try with the meats too. I liked the chimichurri sauce in particular. For lunchtime, it came to about $80 after tip for the two of us, but for an AYCE, that’s a great deal. The owner stopped by our table to check on us, and he was so nice and friendly. We enjoyed our visit, and I recommend trying it out!

Great service! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and as we were being seated the host explained the menu and how to navigate the buffet. The food was all freshly prepared and great tasting. One side of the bar was hot foods and the other was cold items. There was a good selection of items on the food bar including fried plantains,creamed spinach,ribs,rice,coleslaw,salads and more. The meat station has delicious bacon wrapped chicken breast, sirloin, beef tenderloin, lamb, pork and more, all salt seasoned and slow roasted to perfection. Kept warm on the grill until the server slices as much as you want right in front of you, love it! Best yet you can eat all you want. It is a smaller space restaurant with limited parking directly in front but you can park just steps away next door. The owner stops by each table greeting customers and asks how we liked the food. It was delicious and plentiful! Nice to have a good Brazilian Steakhouse in Athens for a change and not super expensive! Try it and see if you like it.

From start to finish my experience was maravilhoso!! From getting a table to being seated comfortably. The music wasn’t too loud and the lights were not too dim. Drinks are fairly priced and cocktails are delicious. Our waitress, Valerie, was kind and attentive to our needs. I am already planning my next visit and you should too.

Dinner last night at Flama was excellent. I've got to say it was a welcome change of pace here in Athens. My friend and I really enjoyed the buffet & meat selection. The price was reasonable. The service was excellent. I will definitely be back. Recommended!
