Mama's Boy Restaurant

I've had a chance to have brunch at Mama's Boy Restaurant during my quick visit to Athens and it has been very pleasant experience.

Even there are not many vegetarian options on the menu but it was easy to create your own option and it was really good.

Very friendly service also and nice vibe overall. Highly recommend Mama's Boy Restaurant.

Whatever you order make sure it comes with a biscuit! The raspberry jam is delicious too. I had the vegetable hash and I don't even like radishes and this mix of fresh vegetables was absolutely amazing! Don't alter a thing about it! I will definitely be back next time I'm in Athens!

Mama's Boy is the kind of place you find only in good college towns. The food is very good, and an incredible value for the price. Unlike breakfast/brunch/lunch places in Atlanta and other cities -- where the dishes are $12.95 and you eat about half the food -- Mama's Boy gives you the right amount on your plate for a very reasonable price. The Bacon Egg Cheese Scrambler at $6.50 is exactly such a dish. A hint: for Sunday brunch, call and make a reservation. The ideal modern southern. Classic southern favorites skillfully made with the most quality ingredients. Coupled with Jittery Joes coffee, Mama's Boy is always a treat. Absolutely get a biscuit, no matter what time of day, if you're there for breakfast the vegetable and egg scrambler is super and the banana bread with honey poppy-seed butter divine. The food is absolutely amazing. Portions are huge and everything tastes as good as it could possibly be. The kids had biscuit & gravy, BLT sandwich and French toast with peaches. The brother ordered pulled pork sandwich and because our server recommended the salmon patties with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce I decided to have one of those for myself. Oh what a wise decision this was. The salmon patties are crunchy, fragrant, fresh and I could probably eat a portion every day for the rest of my life and be happy.
