On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

This was my first time at On the border in Athens and thanks to our server Sean it was a great experience. The food was good but the service was excellent. If you go ask for Sean’s section he’s great.

This visit has been, by far, the most enjoyable outing I've ever had. The manager, Nick, is the best, most up-beat, charismatic gentleman I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Nick and his staff truly care about their guests in their establishment. Our server, Marques, combined with the manager's stroll throughout the restaurant to check on the guests made the dinner experience absolutely astonishing. The dinning experience was second to none and I couldn't have asked for anything more. If I could, I'd give them a 10 star out of 5 because they truly went the extra mile. They put in a little more and went first class. I will return and highly recommend this place to anyone. They truly made my visit phenominal in every way imaginable! If you are looking for an exciting and unforgettable dinner, this is the place to be!!!

The new management has definitely made a huge difference! We quit coming last summer because it was dirty, the food wasn’t good and the service was worse. We decided to give it another chance tonight and are glad we did. You can see a cleanliness difference immediately! The food was fantastic and the service was even better!!
Nice job to the new manager, we’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to our friends!!!
