The Grill

We enjoyed a quick dinner at the Grill. It is always great food and the young gentleman who was our waiter was pleasant and attentive. He checked on us many times and kept our drinks filled. One sad item is that they have changed the fries, they now a straight cut fry and they were a wavy thick cut. They are still good but liked the old style better. But as always the feta dipping sauce is outstanding.

The Grill is a classic downtown restaurant. It's been there at least 15+ years and still is there. The seating is comfortable and the staff is friendly. Well thought out menu. Two people can eat a full meal plus drinks and shakes for under $40. They also have a kids menu. Great variety of different types of burgers. Yummy pickle spears. Clean tables, nice family oriented theme. If you want delicious burgers, fries and shakes, this is your place to stop by in downtown Athens, GA.

This is my favorite place to go to. Not even for the food, which is great, but for the atmosphere of the place. I love it. Its so cute. Where else can i go at 5 in the morning and just chill and eat a burger, drink a milkshake, and have some fun.

Great local joint with amazing atmosphere. Recent switch to straight fries is a little saddening as I personally enjoyed the chipped fries that were the perfect in between cubed hash browns and steak fries. However, that aside, the food is tasty and fresh, the service is respectable and kind, and there is no atmosphere like it in the classic city. If you go here, you must have the fries with feta sauce and a malted milkshake: to put it simply it is classic diner food that is divine. If you're looking for Mana on this planet, get something from the Grill.
