The two burgers ordered were good. The fries also were hot and fresh. There is a good variety for construction of a burger as well. The coleslaw was only okay; didn't have enough vinegary bite I was accustomed to for a Carolina slaw. Obviously, since this is for an airport I have to assume the real restaurant is much better. The prices are ... well kind of expensive. $10-11 for a single patty burger and they are McDonald's size patties not Five Guys size. That also doesn't include anything else, it's all extra. Overall, I liked the food and would try the real one; however, I suggest if you're passing through ATL for layover to try somewhere else.
The bacon cheeseburger tasted fresh off a grill at a picnic. Bartender was generous on the bevies and it is by design. They have an electronic measuring device. Staff all friendly. Place has a fun vibe. Only complaint...bar top was really sticky.
$9.00 double beef patty grindhouse burger alone. Totally not worth the price, not fully dressed either. Forgot tomatoes, no special sauce or so and patty's weren't proportioned for the price. Yet, I get it you are in an airport and its highway robbery. Not quality on food I'd give it 3 stars as far as quality vs quantity to equal/equate price value. Come down on the prices a bit with the burgers or offer them as combos. Nothing killer here but the price.
However, the customer service from the staff deserves 5 stars. They are excellent, professional, charismatic and have great personalities. Even during a rush an being overwhelmed with a small work area and cooks. Kept their focus and composure under pressure. Remaining calm, cool and collective with customers despite some of their snide attitudes. You couldn't ask for a better staff with great customer care and fundamentals. So, five stars on that crew's work ethic and ethos. You're very seldom to see that today in the industry.
I stop here for fresh and delicious veggie burgers every time I fly. Nice portions for the money. Especially tasty pickles. Friendly and efficient service at the bar. Nice bar seating and several beer options make this an ideal spot for a layover diversion.
