So glad I found Chef Garvin’s airport restaurant. Fried chicken, green beans, and cheese grits with bacon. Very good! Big fan of his Mac and cheese, cheese recipe. Family loves it!

Ate breakfast here while waiting for my connecting flight in morning. It was a buffet style southern breakfast where you could choose between potatoes and grits. I went for simple scrambled eggs ( another option was the egg with cheese), potatoes ( hash brown), pork sausage patties, biscuit and I added bacon on top. Pretty good deal. Everything was hot and fresh. The portion was too big to finish alone. I was happy and full. The potato was spicy and fried to the perfection. The bacon and the sausage was rather little heavier on salt.

On my way back from my business trip, I had time for dinner and decided on celebrity Chef G. Garvin Low Country new Southern Cuisine. He is giving you baby back bbq ribs, fried chicken, salmon filet, and garlic shrimp. Desserts are caramel and bacon caramel bread pudding.

Situated on the A concourse food court, the space encounters a steady stream of hungry travellers, and that's an encouraging sign for me.

I ordered the fried chicken, bacon grits, no bake mac and cheese, and seasoned green beans. And now for the details.

I had to wait about 2 or 3 minutes for the fried chicken. I liked that because it came out piping hot and fresh. It looked crispy and golden. After it cooled enough, I tried the breast then the thigh. The breast was crispy, and juicy, still hot but well seasoned. The thigh, my favorite piece was crispy and yet not greasy. A clean taste and I finished both.

The bacon grits were okay. They had bits of bacon and were yellow with cheese throughout. I would have liked a more creamy, textured grits. I felt they weren't the old school grits I am accustomed to. The green beans and mac and cheese were delicious. The mac and cheese was no bake, but full of flavor. My only critique is that I wanted more cheesy sauce. The green beans were well seasoned, not overcooked, and very tasty.

The servers greeted me warmly, were very attentive, and overall did a good job. Id like to see some more variety in side dishes, but I certainly recommend Low Country.

Ordered the chicken sandwich with sides of green beans and mac n cheese. Everything was delicious! Green beans were surprisingly some of the best I’ve ever had. Great food and staff! Bonus - the bag they gave me was 100% compost able and made from corn. Cool to see places taking initiative.

I was impressed not only by the southern style food, but also by the southern hospitality. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The server behind the counter said, “and I thank ya!” She was very genuine and made me happy that I stopped here. The breakfast was delicious. Cheesy grits hit the spot! The whole plate is rather large, possibly enough for 3.
