I came because I had a taste for some BBQ and they weren't far from the job and I could NOT have been more pleased. Then when I called Mr. Ray on an impromptu to cater our organization, he pulled it off without hesitation. They all raved over the whole meal (smoked chicken wings and rib tips, black eyed peas, the "have mercy" mac and cheese, veggie medley and cone-bread). My folks are picky but they loved it all so get ready Mr. Ray.

I went off the reviews and was pleasantly surprised, talking about diamond in the ruff this is it!

I met the owners son, who greeted us and offered us a sample of the 7 cheese macaroni as well as the Ray's special punch and it was delicious.

We ordered 2 dinners of smoke turkey wings, one with rice and two sides, macaroni and candy yams. The other dinner plate had dressing instead of rice, and the two sides were collard greens and potato salad. It was very tasty, the meat fell right off the bone. The sides items were authentic and made fresh, definitely not from a can. We ordered 2 Rays special punch and peach cobbler and banana pudding but were so full were going to have that tomorrow but we dud taste it and it too was delicious. The prices are reasonable.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone as I will be back very soon. It's really difficult for some reason to find authentic soul food in Georgia which is strange because it's the south but FINALLY I've found my go to spot right here for classic style soul food.

The customer service here is Great, as it's mostly family but everyone is very friendly and attentive to your needs.

The ONLY suggestions I would offer is that they incude the drink price with a meal. Next they should offer 2 sizes plates, small or large.

Truly a hidden gem. Being from Chicago, it is hard to find good rib tips in the area. Most people here cut up whole ribs and call them rib tips. Not this place! This is the REAL DEAL. I look forward to placing my next Door Dash delivery order!

Amazing service and amazing food. The mac and cheese was cheesy and gooey. The greens were flavorful and not too salty. Will definitely return

Oh my goodness this food is so delicious! Customer service was so awesome. I got home to eat and couldn't believe how it looked and tasted. My picky 4year old son even said he loves the food. We ate rib tips,Whiting,mac and cheese,cornbread,baked beans, greens, and potato salad. For dessert we chose banana pudding. Im so happy I ran into this place and I'll be back soon! Ate so fast we didn't even get pictures to post!
