“Great food , my first time dining at this restaurant. Was given several samples to try . Everything was delicious. The curry chicken came with rice and cabbage and I added an order of plantains and meat pie for the table. The chicken with brown sauce was also great. This area needed a good quality restaurant and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Very affordable and large portions but more importantly the quality and freshness of the food was excellent. Service was great , very friendly and welcoming. Not a fancy restaurant but great authentic Jamaican food which to me is far more important than ambience.”

“Definitely a bit of a hole in the wall, they have a counter to order at and cook the food short order style. They have a breakfast special for about $4 that includes a meat item, two eggs, grits, and a biscuit. All of the prices are really reasonable and we got a lot of food for the $4. I got a side of home fries, which were really tasty. It's clearly a popular spot for takeout, but we ate in.”

“My Deli Shop in Forest Park is the best Sub Sandwich in the area. I had the Flying Hero toasted which the sub maker suggested and it was incredible. Ditch the Subways and Fast Foods and give these guys a try. I will try the breakfast soon and let you know if it is as good. A great addition to the limited food choices in Forest Park.”
