Monterrey

Great food at great prices. The wait staff was very attentive, and saw to our every need. The food coming from the kitchen was a little slow, but overall, it was excellent.

Found this place because it is right behind the new Starbucks on Tara Blvd. Most of the other area Mexican restaurants that we've tried have just been so-so, but Monterrey has been top notch. The portion sizes are very good, the prices are reasonable, and every member of the staff that we've interacted with has been very nice.

This place was a suggestion from several of my friends.. not only was the environment inviting, the hostess was friendly, the food was authentic and divine, the drinks flavored perfectly but, the over all experience was worth more than 5 stars. I'll definitely be back. Don't let the outside fool you upon arriving, this place is worth a try!!

Good food. Good service. We are not local & by the look of the outside you wouldn't know that was inside. We almost turned around because my husband thought it was a bar.

Great service, great food friendly staff! Authentic Mexican food here and it's really good! The loco rice is one of my favorites with chicken, avocado and sour cream!
