Went for the first time for a wine tasting here on 9/11/2019. I had a ton of fun! Hostess was great and informative. Great crowd and ambiance! Wine was great, shared dinner table and everyone was awesome. Never a dull moment. Crab cakes were SUPER FRESH and SUPERB!!! Pork shank was great and so was the bread pudding as desert! A bit pricey but well worth it every single dollar! Definitely will return!
Great brunch and all around top notch short but adequate menu, although very short wine pours for $9 to $25 per glass. Friendly attentive wait staff and pleasant indoor outdoor decor. Could be a 5, but stingy pours at an already higher price bistro kept rating down. Really a 3.7 out of 5. Fun area with many other choices from reasonable to trendy expensive within walking distance.
I've been to this restaurant many times but this time found a food just adequate.items were not delivered as ordered and we waited far too long to get a bill. It was quite busy so that could be the reason for the less-than-ideal service. I'll try it one more time again.
Wonderful atmosphere and good service! I had the linda omelet and home fries. There are complimentary biscuits and muffins while you wait (yeah!). The omelet was good but not great. While the filling was delicious, the egg part was a little dry and felt as if it was cooked separate from the filling and then stuffed. The house fries were room temp. and tasted old. I would not recommend these to any one ever. Because the atmosphere and service were nice I would give this place another try.
I loved everything about this place! Firstly, can we talk about how adorable the name is? Secondly, the ambiance of the place was just very soothing. It has a very quaint, yet hipster vibe, with a bit of southern charm. The decor was wonderful, looks like it's straight out of a magazine with the white brick and other small finishing touches. There was a lot of seating available. I really loved the outdoor seating that was available but unfortunately, it was a bit too chilly to enjoy it the day I was there. There is a huge fireplace outside, along with some string lights, and I think (could be wrong) there were even some blankets provided so you wouldn't get too chilly.
The service was wonderful. Our waiter was very attentive and came to check on us throughout our meal and was available to answer any questions we had about the menu. The wine recommended was absolutely delicious, there was also a half off wines special. The drinks menu was really unique as well. The drinks were delicious, I'd recommend trying one of them. The calamari was also absolutely delicious, especially with the butter sauce they serve it with. I highly recommend trying that as well. Everything tasted very fresh, which is pretty important anytime you're ordering seafood.
