Just Ok...... Ambiance is incredible but given the location, the demographic isn't present for the setting. The interior look is similar to Dirty Rascal @ The Thompson, and THAT works, because it's East Paces, NOT Powers Ferry. The bartenders were engaging and the cocktails were impeccably made. The food however was sorely lacking in all regards. The vegetable and root salad was missing 90% of its ingredients. When we brought that to the staff's attention, we were supplemented with carrot sticks, like you'd pack in a child's lunch, rather than the carrot puree the menu boasted. The braised lamb in the agnolotti looked like ground chicken and the sauce was missing any flavor profile whatsoever. Beet salad and shrimp cocktail were ok. The new R&C has a lot of work to do to reach the upscale dining pinnacle they are striving for. Otherwise, they should probably stick to the sports bar/tavern model they have upstairs.

The place it is absolutely stunning. They did an incredible job with the interior. It’s elegant, cozy and inviting.
We shared few appetizers to start with ( beet salad, brussels caesar, deviled eggs and hamachi crudo). The presentation was beautiful and everything was delicious. I didn’t actually try the beet salad, but my friends said that it was good. I loved my brussels Caesar salad, a very interesting and delicious spin on the traditional Caesar. Way better in my opinion. And hamachi crudo was exceptional!
For my main course I had the Halibut. It was perfection. I rarely find a place in the city where they can cook and serve a perfect halibut dish, this place executed it. And I mean just look at the plate. The presentation and attention to details. Chef’s Kiss 🤌🏼
My friends had the branzino and the lamb ravioli.
And for dessert we had the cheesecake which was very good. The sauce on the top and on the side of the plate ( not sure what was ) but it was a bit sour/tingly and it complemented it very well. Loved it!
After dinner we had a few cocktails in the Crown Club ( which is their private members club )
DJ (the bartender) was incredible and he made us some reaaaally good cocktails.
I really have no complaints at all about this restaurant and I can’t even believe that I’m saying this. It is extremely rare that I am pleased from A to Z in a restaurant. But R & C Kitchen absolutely delivered it from the interior, service, food and cocktails.
I wish them the best and I cannot wait to go back!
Awesome food, the best atmosphere! Tess, Trent, Kevin, and Matt Miller for live music! The "A" team for sure! I had fried chicken with garlic green beans and mashed potatoes and gravy. delish! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Open 3 weeks going on a month.
