Steak 'n Shake

Always happy with this place. Since they cook everything to order I usually go inside for to-go orders. Rather wait inside than the car. Staff is always welcoming and attentive plus the food is always delicious. Can't go wrong here.

We had a large group, the orders were placed without too much problem. The check out was problematic. They should have given each individual their check and not ask the kids to recall their order. I had to pay the outstanding balance.

Love the burgers at this place, but they are always short staffed. There seems to be an extremely high staff turnover here. My husband and I where here last Saturday evening. There was only one waitress for the entire dining room. After waiting several minutes to be seated, we waited another 15 minutes and no wait person. Finally I got up and asked for a manager who was in the back somewhere. He said someone called off and he had someone else on the way. Again, the burgers are a good bargain, and taste good. Service can often be a problem.
