    Sliced brisket today was a work of art and portions were just right. Always enjoy their baked beans too, which are more like hobo beans - 3 types of beans in a sauce that is a little sweet and a little hot.

    Previous visit I had sampler plate and totally enjoyed the variety of meats. What will my third visit bring?

    Excellent BBQ! Service was friendly and the food delicious! The sausage and banana pudding were my favorites! But the brisket, ribs and pork were all delicious! A great place to enjoy lunch or dinner!

    Just went to Big Shanty again and as usual it is very good. The mac and cheese is nothing fancy but a solid side to the awesome sausage. Their other smoked meats are awesome too but the sausage has the great texture of coarse ground meat with a deep smoky flavor. There is no excessive juiciness or greasiness which means that the flavor of the meat comes right out.
