Fried Tomato Buffet

This place is awesome and less expensive than most country cooking buffets. All the food was seasoned excellent and they continued to refill everything even before it was empty. The lady waiting our table was terrific . We will definitely tell others and come back again.

Great all you can eat buffet. Southern American food. Very large crowds welcome, just call ahead. Christian owned company. $10.24 lunch per person on Sat. Well seasoned meats and vegetables. This is not your bland southern food! It is good. Excellent salad bar and dessert line. Hand sanitizer available everywhere. Very clean. Very fast seating and food quick, hot and easy to get to. Will go back again. Watch out the access road has many very deep potholes, some but not all are marked with orange cones!

My mom’s favorite restaurant is regrettably Golden Corral. Convinced her to try this place (I never had either), and we both loved it. Everything we tried was better than Golden Corral, except for the mashed potatoes. The only reasons I’m not rating it a 5 are

1) the 75-minute time limit. I understand it, but at the same time 75 seems a bit restrictive. We spent an hour last night just serving ourselves and actually eating. Little time was left for any coffee (if they offer it, I’m not sure) or conversation. I think 90 would be reasonable to kick people out.

2) Lack of ice cream.

This restaurant is great! The food was really tasty and the service was incredible! The price is reasonable as well. Although they have a decent selection, there aren’t as many options as I would have liked. The salad bar was fresh, but not much to choose from. The hot food bar had a good variety, but again, not much to choose from. I’m rating it a 4-star because of the service and the food was great! I just think a buffet should offer more choices.

Me and my boyfriend came to Fried Tomato Buffet on a Sunday afternoon. There was a lot of people dining here but the wait for a table was less than 10 minutes. The food is pretty good and there is a nice selection to choose from. However, I feel like their selection is not as extensive as Golden Corral but there is still plenty to satisfy a diverse array of food tastes. My favorite was the fried chicken, mac n cheese, fried green tomatoes, and cranberry sauce. My boyfriend said it felt like he was having Thanksgiving dinner again. We definitely would come back again.
