L. Marie's Southern Cuisine

Excellent service and great southern food. I ordered the veggie plate (beans and rice gets 11 stars) and was stuffed when I left there. The owner is also AMAZING! She stops and talks to the customers and even gives out hugs to repeat customers. They are moving but we are following them to their new spot also.

My family and I made reservations for my husbands birthday dinner for a party of 12. We had never experienced L. Marie’s Southern Cuisine and to say the least we were beyond delighted with the service and food! My husband and brother-in-law had the gator po boy, I had the grilled salmon with Mac and cheese. For one...the absolute BEST and I do mean BEST Mac and cheese I have ever had and I consider myself an expert! ???? salmon was the best salmon I have also ever had and I also consider my self an expert on salmon as well. My husband...well all 12 of us could not have been more satisfied with the exceptional service and phenomenal food! Everyone was so sweet and attentive. Definitely earns the label of “ best soul food around”! Thank L Marie’s for an amazing dinner and experience! Will definitely be returning!!????????????????????????????

WoW!! I’ll start with how friendly our server was. A total class act along with the Manager who both made me and my wife feel so welcome and at home. Next was the Sangria my wife had was fantastic according to her happy self. Now to the most important part, the food. Lawd Have Mercy! I had the full order of Trout which was absolutely huge and fresh and amazing and squash casserole for my side. A half order would be plenty but I was hungry. ;) My Wife had the Crab Cakes and Cabbage for her side. She said she had never had better. We finished it all off with the Red Velvet Cheesecake. There are no words to describe how great it was except We Highly Recommend It and Highly Recommend L. Marie’s. What A Great Experience! Thank You and We Will Be Back. Wes and Karen

Delicious food, with a southern or New Orleans flair. Wait staff is courteous and patient. Portions are just the right size. Quiet jazz playing in the background and tables are covered with linens. Very nice!

We enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I had the vegetable plate and it was filling! It was a bit cold inside but we were advised the heat was off to minimize the wet floors from the our wet shoes coming in from the rain. There was a server with colorful hair who provided the BEST customer service. Our waitress was a little hard to hear but when the server came out, she had great energy. I can tell the vibe is "getting there". I wish there was the live Jazz band they advertised on their site. It would have really made a difference just to have some sort of entertainment or background music. That would have made it more lively. Overall, great establishment.
