Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant

Good was very good, prices were great for the food amount and quality. The service want very good from our waiter but that was because the place was literally full of college kids. The manager stepped up and took care of our table though and he was awesome ! If I were going to be here longer I would definitely go again.

Great surprise. One of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever tried. Food and service were excellent. The only problem is they're far away from where I live. :(

Of the dozens of Mexican restaurants near me, it is by far my favorite. The salsa is the best around. It is flavorful and hot but not too hot. The food quality seems to be consistently better than the other restaurants. Service is always good and prompt. Even when crowded the place seems to be festive but not loud. It's the family's favorite Mexican restaurant. We eat here a lot.

I have previously posted reviews but not for the take out service. Not that unusual to come to the bar to pick up your take out, but I know of no other place where the manager will strike up a friendly conversation. Unique to Las Palmas on Wade Green, that conversation quickly lead to comparisons of your favorite tequila. Shots or smooth sipping? THAT is the question. He knows the qualities for what make both. Tonight I also learned the recipe for home made Margaritas. No, it does not include margarita mix! The rest, you will have to invest your time at the bar to attain. Salud Amigo!

This is a great little neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Quaint décor with simple and flavorful fare. Prices are reasonable. You're not going to get unusual fusion dishes here. However, when you just want something tried and true and it doesn't need to be fancy, this is your place.
