On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

My wife and I just enjoyed an awesome meal at On The Border. Destiny was our server and was top notch. She was attentive and timely in everything she did, from refilling our drinks to bringing us extra chips and takeout box. The stacked nachos were generously and evenly filled with toppings. We were very satisfied and will come back soon!

This is my second consecutive five star review of On the Border. I don't come to Barrett Parkway often but if I do, I don't dine anywhere else. This time I had a bartender who has never served me. She was not only very cute but also very attentive as she offered me refills on both of my beers when there was one third left in each glass. My food came out perfect and hot. I had the double stack club quesadilla which I know is not on the menu anymore but it's hard to mess up bacon, chicken and melted cheese. The bartender's name is Kayla and I appreciate the good service as well as a bright smile.

Catherine! Request to be seated with Catherine. She is by far one of the best servers I have been served by; and I was also a server. Great table side manner, prompt before you need something, not bothersome, and no mistakes. Oh, the restaurant and food was good too. My wife’s favorite. If Catherine recommends something, it will be good.

Sean the manager is who gives this place a leg up. He is always friendly and works to make things right if you are unhappy. The service can fluctuate if there is another manager or a new server but food is overall consistent. We had our last visit with Catherine and she was attentive. I highly recommend the new border bites. All of those we have tried have been tasty. They can be a nice change from queso. The rest of the menu is standard Americanized Mexican cuisine. The plates could use more rice to match the beans but that is my only complaint related to the food. We typically go for the enchiladas but the new steaks and grilled veggies are also tasty. If service were more consistent I would be at 5 stars but overall it is a great place with an easy to find location right of 75.

After shopping we came here for dinner. Candice our server was awesome. She was very attentive and personable knew our name after introduction. We really enjoyed our visit here. She is one of the best servers that we have ever had.
