Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

I haven't been to a Popeyes restaurant in years because it's so far from me. Now that this location is close to my church, they will see me more often. I have been going to Popeyes for years from St. Louis all the way to Georgia. I can get spicy chicken in any chicken outfit, but that spicy chicken flavoring Popeyes has, just can't be found anyplace else.

The chicken sandwich is amazing highly recommend the employees are great and working as hard as they can. There’s obviously a lot of Karen’s on here who have never worked fast food and just want to leave mean comments. They’re probably the same people who don’t support raising the minimum wage. Ignore them. Anyways definitely try this place out when they get back in their chicken sandwiches (or before great chicken)

My most recent visit was by far the best. I give the credit to an employee named Corey who was working hard and moving fast to get orders out (correctly). He was managing the counter by himself and was doing so quite well. Corey is the rare food service guy that truly works to be good at his job.

Prior visits the overall service was poor. From the customer side looking over the counter all you see is chaos. Nobody seems to really take charge, employees stand around waiting to be told what to do . . . no real signs of competency or self-motivation. The result is wait times similar to going to a regular restaurant.

The food quality is decent for fast food, but nothing like what Popeyes was years ago. Parking is sufficient.
