The food & service was great as usual. What stands out in my mind from today's visit is the mgr, Adam. Extremely helpful, professional, and friendly. He is truly an asset to this Kennesaw location. Thank you for your assistance Adam, a pleasure to meet you!
You simply can't go wrong with The Varsity. You don't get quite the same nostalgic feeling at this as you do at the downtown location the food is just as good. Make sure you get some pies and a F.O., and don't forget your Varsity hat.
The cheese burger and slaw dog was good. Better than McDonald and In and Out, not close Five Guys.
Pricey! I think the food is not aligned well with the price. Burgers were not big and were not juicy.
Drive thru was quick!
First time here. Had the double cheeseburger and onion rings. Onion rings tasted like they were hands breaded in premises. Cheeseburger was pretty standard. Had a delicious frosted orange shake. It was extremely good!,
We picked up Varsity for Father's Day. It's one of my Daddy's favorites from when he was a very young man and worked at Firehouse 11 on North Ave, just down the street from "The Varsity". This meal delivered what it should have. It tasted right, was prepared properly and the service was Varsity friendly. Of course, the fries and rings were slightly on the greasy side, but that's how they are supposed to be. The chili dogs tasted just like I remember from when my Mama and Daddy would take me to the Varsity in town, in my footie pajamas, 50 years ago. We would get the car hop service and I would fall asleep on the way home. Finally, the PCs and the fried peach pies were perfect. Way back, the PCs didn't come in a little carton, but in a cup, just like any other drink. You can still get a cup of ice and they still taste great.
It tasted like Varsity should taste. Bringing back great memories on Fathers Day.
