Owens and Hull at Grand Champion

The brisket is pretty good, it was sliced thick and we enjoyed it. The side were so awful I must have gone on an off day, based on how people are raving about them. The coleslaw was just meh. The man working recommended the mac and cheese as the best he's ever had but it was so bland, no flavor, and the cheese was this grainy texture, it wasn't smooth and creamy. Velveeta mac from the box is 10x better. I'd get the brisket to go and make my own sides if I ever even went back.

O.M.G. Soooooo Goooooddd!!! The ribs were soooo tender and juicy and perfectly seasoned! Their sauce was just soooo yummy too. Ribs didn't really need sauce but the sauce itself was awesome too! Their speciallty sausage and pulled pork were amazing also. Pickled onions, jalapeño and cucmbers were just so perfect!! We will be back again and again!! The pit master (I'm sure he was) came around yo check on us and that was personable experience, and showed that he is there to serve the customers with heart and pride!! 10/10 stars!!

A friend recommended Grand Champion in Roswell a couple years ago. When we finally decided to go, they had closed. We finally figured out where they moved and it was well worth the hour drive! Chopped brisket sandwich, smoked brisket burger, smoked wings, and the best mac & cheese I've ever had. Bonus points for being attached to a great local brewery.

The menu changes per the days of the week, but I went with my husband on a Saturday and got the chopped brisket sandwich and it was so incredible! I got a side of the collards and Mac, with a coke, and it turned out to be $28 with tax. It was a bit pricey, but worth it for this incredible barbecue! The owner thanked me for coming and the service was great! Reformation brewery is attached so that was nice and got a seltzer too.

MUST visit - I cannot give this place enough praise! Myself (Multi-year Texas resident) and girlfriend (Texas native) ate here for dinner after reading very positive opening reviews, and they did not do a justice!

The customer service here is top notch. Everyone was super friendly (staff, management, and chefs), gave great direction/recommendations, and frequently checked in to make sure everything tasted good.

This was by far some of the best BBQ I've ever had. I got The Huey to taste as much as possible along with some extra sides and sausages. The brisket was tender and juicy, sausage packed with flavor, and even the turkey (which can normally lack at BBQ spots compared to the other meats) was crave worthy. I would have been happy just eating the sides alone. The cheese grits were a great consistency and brisket chilli was seasoned exceptionally well.

In addition, the restaurant is connected to a bar/brewery so you can eat, drink, and listen to live music (on select nights).

My only complaint is I don't live closer. This has absolutely become a regular spot, and a must try for anyone local or visiting.
