Biscuits & More

This place is always so busy and I can't ever figure out why. It tastes like just about everything is microwaved. The biscuits taste like a commercially made bread product shaped like a biscuit. The cheese grits are really just a cheese soup. The hashbrowns are coated in salt. I've been a couple times and I'm not sure why. The people are all friendly, I just don't see the draw.

Finally had a chance to grab lunch here. Heard great things on several occassions and we were not disappointed at all! No matter what you order the cheese grits on thr side are a must! Now that we've been once, we will be back again soon.

It was pretty good but the lunch menu is way better than breakfast menu. They need to work on the quality of meats like fried steak, hot links etc... Cheese grits was the best cheese grits I've ever had in a restaurant a pinch of sharp cheddar would make them the best I've had in life.

The sausage gravy was lackluster but the biscuits were good. Based on the stellar reviews I had higher expectations than I should have. The sausage is chopped precooked patties and the gravy is not made with a traditional rue. The prices were affordable and comparable to the quality of food. We didn't leave broke or hungry.

I got the double cheeseburger and a coffee and it was a great burger the coffee is a decent roast as well. The restrooms could be a little cleaner and there could have been better interaction with the employees. I asked for no onion but I still had onions on the burger. The pros of this place definitely outweighed the cons. They have a decent menu choice and a clean dining area.
