Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Great place off Delk rd for food and a nostalgic experience. Restaurant is decorated like rural America, old paintings, antiques, and a old country store attached to the restaurant. You will enjoy the time spent here.

There are some restaurants where the exceptional quality of the food and service justifies the long lines and waits for the food. This place IS NOT one of those restaurants. The food is... ok. The service is good, but the wait times can be a little inflated. Of course, the food quality is just my opinion.

This is my main breakfast spot for my pancakes, love my Mama's Pancakes Breakfast, the waitress was so sweet, very attentive! The only problem that I had , because never experienced one at this location, was that my daughter ordered the fried chicken meal and it took forever for her food to come out, they said they dropped a new batch of chicken because they were out, so we waited and waited for her food. The manager on duty was excellent, as we were waiting they bought out extra biscuits and gave extra vegetables to her, by that time I had already cleaned my plate, needed my pancakes! When that chicken did get to the table, Lord it was hot and delicious. Love this location!

Freezing inside. Air conditioning easy set way to low. Saw people actually got out to their cars and drying in sweater's and in one case blankets. I mentioned it to staff, they said they would look into it. Not sure that happened or I got used to the temp a bit more. We were holding our grandchildren close to keep them warm. Nice and clean. Staff was very friendly. Service was a bit slow. Good was what you would expect here, good and consultant.
