Hoboken Cafe is like home cooking but better, reminds me of my best friend's grandmother from Italy cooking in the back with Frank Sinatra everytime! The best flavors, fresh ingredients and consistently friendly service is the reason why my family and I keep coming back. We have never had a bad dish here and our experience is always fantastic; whether we dine in or take out, we are treated respectfully and like good family friends. Try the Chicken Balsamic or one of the special entrees, I had the special Stuffed peppers which were delicious, and the cheesecake is authentic like it should be. Taste of old authentic Italian flavors from back in the day!
Hands down one of the best sandwiches I've had in the southeast. The meatball sandwich with fresh mozzarella was amazing, and the prosciutto and fresh mozzarella no words. The flavors and the bread make the sandwich. One bite and you feel like you are back home. The food and the service was top notch. Definitely worth the drive.
When here on September 3rd 2019. Had the sausage sandwich with peppers and onions and mozzarella. The sandwich was amazing and so was the service. If you're looking for a restaurant with an Italian twist in regards to sandwiches. This will be the place to go. I would definitely return.
I would recommend this place.
I received fast and prompt service from both of the owners today. The menu is fairly quick and easy to read, but if you need help or suggestions, just ask. My to-go order was ready very quickly. Both the meatball sub and tuna and mozzarella sandwiches were delicious! I can’t wait to go back and try the other items on the menu.
FYI: their mozzarella is made in-house and can be bought by the pound! ????????
Went to Hoboken Cafe did the first time with a cousin while visiting from Chicago. Best fresh meatball sub I’ve had. The owner made the experience one to remember, bringing out fresh homemade mozzarella cheese to show everybody there how it’s done right. He let each of us come up to hold the spoon & take a picture. Thanks for the memory! Be back next time in town.
