My parents and I had the most wonderful experience at Jambo Grill - it was our first time trying Kenyan food, and everything was so delicious. The bhajias had the most wonderful dipping sauce, and the githeri and fried tilapia were so tasty as well. Mrs. Lucy and her husband were so kind and took the time to explain the dishes to us. We are lucky to have this restaurant in Atlanta, and will certainly be back!
I just had an incredible dining experience at this fantastic Kenyan restaurant in Atlanta, and I can't recommend it enough! The flavors were authentic and truly mouth-watering. I was so impressed with the variety that I ended up ordering half the menu! Every dish was a hit, and I even took plenty of leftovers home to enjoy later. The ambiance is welcoming, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, making the whole experience even more delightful. Whether you’re familiar with Kenyan cuisine or trying it for the first time, this place is a must-visit. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
Delicous food and friendly service. This was my first time trying Kenyan food and I ordered a couple dishes based on the owners recommendations. Everything was great, but I especially loved the Githeri, Skuma Wiki, and Irio. They also mentioned adding a couple dishes to the menu for the 1-year anniversary since they opened
I came across this gem since my favorite wing place is right next to it. Tonight I went and gave them a try since I love African food. It is so warm, clean and inviting in there. The food is delicious! They made sure my greens were freshly made which was worth the wait. They are so kind and accommodating. I had the goat stew with rice, cabbage and greens. You could tell it was made with love and full of nutrients. I wish them so much success! This will be my new favorite place of comfort.
We were in the mood for some new flavors at an affordable price for date night and Jambo Grill’s Kenyan fare did not disappoint! We split the goat stew, chicken and beef samosas, and a few sides including perfectly cooked plantains. Samosas were so good, we got a few extra to go haha. The vibe is very relaxed and the family running it made us feel right at home. Will be back to try the delicious looking fried tilapia another night! We gotta keep these family-owned hidden gems open! Nothing as good as real home-cooked food someone else made for you!
