Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q

I recently ate here, came at 730 on a Sunday night. Waited 20 minutes to be seated, ordered drinks waited another 10 minutes or so for drinks. Then was told by our waitress that they ran out of chicken and ribs both of which are the most popular. They should have informed their guests of this before even seating them. Eventually we ordered brisket and pulled both were lukewarm and full of fat. I think this restaurant has potential but they need to be considerate of their guests that come later in the evening.

Not my best Jom & Nick's experience. My food was delivered with my fries cool and tough. My chicken tenders were also tough, almost as if they had been re-cooked to heat them. Our server had to be asked to re-fill our glasses, for bread, and a couple of requests for our check. The restaurant was no where near capacity.

Very delicious ! We are shocked at how generous the portions were. My daughter loves the mac and cheese. I am in love with the giant baked potatoes! We look forward to adding this to our local eating out treats!

I was invited by a friend to attend their soft opening, as they don’t officially open until next week. The food was amazing as usual, just like the other locations. However the service at this location was top notch!! Everyone was super nice and helpful, Alyssa our server was awesome, and several managers came over and greeted us as well. I’m sure they were much more attentive due to it being a new location, but I’m convinced this high level of service will continue when they open because soft skills are impossible to teach. I wish this location much success and I’ll definitely be back!

I went to this new restaurant today for lunch. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with Carolina BBQ sauce and collard greens as the side. My pork was very good. I also ordered an order of chicken tenders and fries with honey mustard to carry out. The breading on the tenders were crispy and the chicken was juicy. See photos. The restaurant has an open design so it was noisy, but the open floor plan also made it feel spacious with a good amount of space between the tables. My server was attentive and the manager or owner stopped by our table to check on us. In summary, I will be going back to try other dishes.
