This was my first time eating at McCrays & I was not disappointed!!! The food was really good and we did not have to wait very long for it. Emma was our waitress and she was the best. I will definitely be coming back

It was like a downscale Marlowe's. Service was quite good, but the food was only average. I had onion rings as a side. They were large, but very over-breaded. And they'd been fried in the same grease they cook their fish in. I love fried seafood - fish & shellfish - but I don't want my fish to taste like onions any more than I want my onion rings to taste like fish. And our bill was a bit steep for the meal we had. Not owing to the quality, I had their version of French dip and the wife had a burger. We also had some kettle chips (thin fried chips with gorgonzola, bacon, green onions and tomatoes). They were good but not hot enough. Like they'd been sitting. Wife had sweet potato fries with her burger and I had a Guinness. Bill before tip was $55... A bit too much for what we got. It's still a new place, so maybe this was an anomaly.

The Cobb “Foodie Week” menu was unreal- and they do chef driven specials every night!
The menu is an upscale spin on classic tavern food. McCray’s has something for everyone in the family.
They also have rotating craft beers from local breweries and a great house cocktail menu!
The Private Select Old Fashion is awesome!

Service was prompt and friendly. The menu was more than just fried everything which is nice when you go to any tavern. I expect pub food, but a few healthy options make a big difference. (The chopped salad was great!) We shared the Big A$$,Pretzel, and it was done perfectly, still soft and not dried out. Because of COVID we chose to eat outside, and the tables were well spaced and clean. Hand sanitizer was provided at the table which made up for having plastic menus.

I have waited to try this new East Cobb restaurant but finally did visit tonight and was incredibly impressed. All dishes were prepared to perfection and the service was excellent. At least four servers checked on us during our visit and the manager stopped by the table twice.
I am thrilled to have such a quality establishment in East Cobb. I look forward to becoming a regular and I know that this restaurant is going to do very well in East Cobb and will be around for many, many years!
